l just wanted to drop a note to you about the service call made at my home.

Downeast was told that our GE fridge was not running cold and you said that you'd be there between 11 and 1 pm.

The technician arrived around 11 am (l was out of town) and proceeded to help my wife move the fridge without damaging the hardwood floor, found the problem and replaced the computer board (fixing the problem) let my wife clean behind the machine and then helped her reset the fridge.

I just wanted to thank the technician for great service and pleasant manner, both of which are not always the case in our hectic world.

Your card is in my roller-deck and your company will be the first called if we ever need appliance work in the future.

Just a note to let you know about my experience with your company. I was having problems with my washing machine and called your company setting up a service call for April 30th.

Your technician arrived right on time and in no time discovered my problem (a broken coupler), went out to his truck retrieved the part and to my surprise had it up and running before I knew it.

I can't thank you enough for being such a great service company with such knowledgeable technicians.


My dishwasher was full and would not start and I was having a bridal shower in 5 days. I called your office , received an appointment for the next day at 8am. The technician arrived and immediately found I needed a new power board. He then called a local parts company who said they had one in stock. He made an appointment for the next morning arriving right on time and installed the part.
